November 2025/ Hirundo Energy News
Hirundo Lesotho is pleased to announce the start of road & footpath construction and maintenance works that will provide access to two planned meteorological mast locations near Likoeneng, Mohale’s Hoek. These activities mark an important milestone in the development phase of the Mohale’s Hoek Wind Energy Project, which will help unlock Lesotho’s renewable energy potential.
Why These Works Matter
The road construction and maintenance are essential for enabling safe access to the mountain ridge where the meteorological masts will be installed. These masts will result in a detailed assessment of the expected wind resources in the area.
