The HIRUNDO team develops wind energy projects in Africa and Europe.
In Africa we are active in Lesotho and Ghana. In Europe we develop, build and operate wind energy projects in the northern region of Belgium.
The name HIRUNDO is inspired by the genius of birds, of which the barn swallow is the best known and lives both in Africa and in Europe. They travel between the 2 continents and enjoy life in both places.
We want to contribute on the emergence of clean and affordable energy for everyone, Wind energy can supply large amounts of global energy needs. Wind energy in combination with hydropower and solar power can provide stable and clean electricity.
